Degreeverse ("we", "us", "our") is an admission counselling service that helps students enroll in UGC-entitled online degree programs offered by partner universities, including Manipal University Jaipur, LPU, and Amity University Online. When you use our enquiry forms, chatbot, or callback request, we collect:

• Your program/course interest and preferred university
• Messages you send to our AI counsellor chatbot ("Priya")
• Basic usage data (pages visited, general location, device type) via Google Analytics

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18 without parental involvement, and our services are intended for prospective higher-education students.

• To contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS, or email about your enquiry
• To share your enrollment interest with the relevant partner university for admission processing, if you choose to proceed
• To improve our website, chatbot responses, and counselling process
• To send you information about scholarships, EMI options, or programs you've shown interest in

We share your information with:

• Partner universities — only if you proceed with an application, so they can process your admission
• Service providers we use to operate the site, including Google (for form storage and analytics via Google Sheets and Google Analytics), WhatsApp (for callback/message alerts), and Anthropic (whose Claude AI powers our chatbot — chatbot conversations are processed by Anthropic's API to generate responses)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties or advertisers.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. This may set cookies that track anonymized usage patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as expected.

We retain enquiry and lead data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes above, or until you request deletion, whichever is earlier.
